Watching Egypt from 5,000 Miles Away

Today Hosni Mubarak stepped down. Domitille and I have been watching the news coming out of Egypt for 18 days, totally ignorning things we were supposed to be doing. Today, since we arent Egyptian and couldnt be at the World’s Biggest Party in Tahir square, we made a comic about the events in Egypt. Or at least, about watching events in Egypt.

Here it is:  http://pizzaisland.wordpress.com/2011/02/11/egypt-from-5000-miles-away/

UPDATE: This ended up having quite the heated debate in the comments section.

  1. Just checked out your comic, it's amazing how Twitter played such an important role, keeping the Egyptian people in contact with the world, feeding what was happening in real time.
