The D+Q Edition of How to Understand Israel…is Now Available

The new Drawn and Quarterly reprint of my first book,  How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less, is out this week! I think they did a beautiful job with this new edition. There’s thicker paper, better ink, and more attention to detail than the original DC/Vertigo version. Plus, there’s a much bigger gutter where the two pages meet so the artwork isn’t falling into the spine of the book anymore. I’ll always be grateful to Vertigo for taking a chance on me as part of their short-lived original graphic novel experiment, and also for keeping the book in print for six years…but I’m very very happy that this book is now in its new home at D+Q.

You can now order this book from Amazon or your preferred online retailer, as well as directly from the D+Q website. If you would like to order a signed copy with some bonus artwork, you can also buy deluxe book packages from me in my own online shop. A signed copy of the book with a small hand painted watercolor is $60. I’ll also include a drawn-on Rolling Blackouts postcard until I run out of them.

And of course, I’ll be signing copies of the Israel book this fall on my Rolling Blackouts tour. Check my events schedule to see if I’m coming to a bookstore or book fest near you.
